Why a "Scan me" frame works
People don't scan codes they don't notice or don't understand. A frame does two jobs: it draws the eye to the code, and it tells people what happens when they scan. "Scan me" is the classic, but a specific promise usually does better: "Scan for the menu", "Scan to join the Wi-Fi", "Scan for 10% off".
Keep the words short and put the reason first. If there's a second line, use it for the detail, such as a date, a network name or the offer.

- Headline and Table tent: big words above the code, for menus, reception desks and A-boards.

How to make a scan me QR code
- Enter what the code should open: a link, Wi-Fi details, a contact card or a message.
- Open Frame and pick a style. The previews show your own words and colours.
- Write your text and an optional second line. Add an icon if it helps, such as a menu or Wi-Fi symbol.
- Pick a font and corner roundness, or tick Match the code's colours.
- Check the scan badge says it scans, then download PNG, SVG or a print-ready PDF at the size you need.
Making sure it still scans
Frames sit around the code, never on it, so the clear border every scanner needs stays empty. Each design is also decoded by our scanner as you change it, so you'll see straight away if a colour choice makes it hard to read.
For print, keep dark code on a light background, leave the code at least 2 cm wide, and use the PDF sizes: business card, sticker, flyer, table tent or A4 poster.
